Welcome to Lazy Crazy Acres

Hello Friends!

Karen in the barn

Thanks for stopping by our little website! We’re a small farm and micro-creamery located New York’s beautiful Catskill Mountains. We make farm fresh, “cow to cone” gelato starting straight from the cow in the mornings. The milk  is raw and warm and still steaming when we begin the mix process in our little creamery in our historic barn. Check out the creamery section of the site to find out more about all the things we do (and don’t do) that make our farmstead gelato so unique and delicious.

AUGUST 2014 FAQ’s!

Are you open to the public? For special events, we are! Please check the  calendar tab to see when the farm will be open. We are hosting Pizza and Gelato Nights on the Farm throughout August and September and will add dates as we plan them. Please click on the Agventures tab above to see more info on our pizza nights :)

Can we just swing on by? We do have a little freezer and fridge in the pavilion with gelato and milk in our “On Yer Honor Farm Store”. You are welcome to swing by and pick up a few goodies.  We wish we could be around to personally greet and show everyone around but we are are two man outfit handling farm work, creamery work, a year old who is starting to walk (yowser!), office work, marketing, deliveries, etc.  Following us on Facebook is a great way to keep up with what we’re up to.

Where are you located? We’re up in the Dry Brook Valley just outside Arkville. We’re on the back side of Belleayre Ski Center. Directions are in the Agventures section of this website.

We invite you to wander around our site to learn more about what we do up at Lazy Crazy Acres. For the most up-to-date info, photos and jibberjabber – friend us on facebook!

Please check out our About section to learn more about our friends at, Crystal Valley - our farming practices, our history and so on and so forth.

Join us on Facebook and/or come back here often to keep track of where we’re rambling to next — then come on out and see us!

Looking forward to meeting you,

Jake and Karen
